How to Calculate Crypto Arbitrage Profit Correctly

Most beginners make the mistake of only looking at the price difference between two exchanges. But the real net profit is always lower once you account for all costs. This calculator shows you exactly what you'll keep after every fee is deducted.

The 4 Fees That Eat Your Arbitrage Profit

1. Trading fee (buy side): Most exchanges charge 0.1% per trade. On $1,000 capital, that's $1 just to buy.

2. Trading fee (sell side): Another 0.1% when you sell on the second exchange. Total: $2 in 2026trading fees on $1,000.

3. Withdrawal fee: Transferring coins between exchanges costs a flat fee. For example, USDT on TRC20 costs ~$1, on ERC20 costs $5-15.

4. Slippage: Your actual execution price may differ slightly from the displayed price, especially on lower-liquidity coins.

What is a Good Arbitrage Spread?

ArbVertex only sends signals with a 2%+ net spread after all fees. A 1% raw spread almost always turns into a loss after fees. A 3%+ raw spread typically leaves 1.5-2% net profit, which is our target minimum.
